Attend center events to connect with like-minded individuals while experiencing the EESystem. Also, take advantage of center promotions to save off EESystem sessions. Share a testimonial and a condition improvement submission to help spread the word of the incredible technology and to encourage others to see how the EESystem can benefit them. Join a global community of centers focused on bringing incredible technologies to those in need. I look forward to providing a session that supports you in your healing goals. It's an Amazing place of healing, with some of the most calming energy in all of Portland, to be sure.

Quiet time starts at 9 PM and silent hour is at 10 PM in respect for our neighbors.

I've found this connection creates excitement and curiosity in people to be a part of their healing journey. It is absolutely a team effort and my goal is to be a knowledgeable teammate in healing that allows my clients to feel safe, heard, and cared for. Currently, the modalities I offer are Deep Tissue, Sports, Trigger point, and Swedish. My approach to massage incorporates a blend of listening through touch, balancing the nervous system, myofascial release, breath-work therapy, and deep tissue. To me the most valuable and essential aspect a massage therapy is providing safe touch. I think human touch is something we’ve really taken for granted and we can really see the effects of that with what’s currently going on in the world.

Her sessions are catered to client requests, and what she feels the body needs during the assessment. To alleviate pain, her techniques focus on specific muscles, surrounding connective tissue, and increasing mobility to support recovery. She started her studies with herbalism, energy work, sound healing, shamanic practices, and massage. She loves blending all of these to encourage the mind-body-spirit connection.

Such modalities in her repertoire include CranioSacral Therapy, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Swedish, Myofascial, Tok Sen, Traditional Northern-Style Thai, and modified Thai for the Table. Her ability to read and attune with the body allows her to vary from hands-off/light to a moderate level of pressure. Marissa's passion for holistic wellness and life-long fascination of the complexity the human body lead her to massage.

She is now a Reiki Master, CranioSacral Therapist, Intuitive Healer, and Licensed Massage Therapist. She believes the body holds the Wisdom to heal itself; sometimes we just need a gentle reminder, an avenue for going back inside. That is where Shauna starts her sessions, acknowledging the health and creating the space to allow your body to relax and heal itself. Melody Christensen, a Massage Therapist for the past 17 years, has been deeply connected to her work with her clients. She has training in many different modalities including Swedish for relaxation, Deep Tissue/Sports, CranioSacral, Acupressure, Acutonics tuning forks, Reflexology, lymphatic drainage and myofascial release. She holds space for clients in a way that makes them comfortable so they can truly let go.

These days it is so easy to become detached mentally, to not feel like ourselves, and I believe it is so important to deepen our understanding and awareness of how detached we can get from our bodies. We begin to ignore them, sometimes they're the last thing we think about going through our busy days, and there are many inconvenient and painful effects of this. We hold our stress and past experiences in our aching muscles that are begging for our attention. I believe massage deepens the mind-body connection which promotes awareness and a heightened sense of how one's body is functioning.

Many people today see vulnerability as weakness or fault when, truly, it allows us to connect and relate to others, and ultimately heal from trauma. I believe that our bodies and minds possess an amazing capacity to heal themselves but often forget how to do so. I believe there is a healer inside us all, and that we create our journey through actions and thoughts.

My healing path began in 2003 when I was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. These experiences left me doubtless that massage therapy was essential to my recovery. I felt called to share the gift I received, so I studied to become an LMT. Healing with Horses Ranch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit therapeutic riding center.

As a global non-profit organization, our mission is to make breakthrough technologies that are making real impacts on lives accessible and affordable around the world. We use our resources and reach to spread awareness and knowledge of our nearly 500 centers worldwide that come together in unison to help give back to less fortunate communities, countries, and individuals. Massage allows me to do that in an exceptionally profound and personal way. I believe touch to be an integral part of what we are as creatures, and I want to show people that being vulnerable is okay.

In session, I bring a safe, nurturing, and restful space within which my clients can fall into a deep state of relaxation, leaving stress and compression on the table and walking out rejuvenated and renewed. My work is a combination of Swedish, Shiatsu, Trigger Point, Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology, and Deep Tissue. Over the years, I have felt increasingly fortunate to have impacted so many healing journeys.

Her modalities include Swedish, deep tissue, connective fluid strokes, myofascial release, structural integration, craniosacral, tuning fork sound healing, and reiki energy work. Shasta’s sessions are interactive and cater to those who want to be involved in their healing process. She lives by the statement, “No one knows your body as well as you do.” Shasta’s modalities include Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Traditional and Table Thai, Myofascial, Cupping, and Deep Tissue. She often integrates a variety of these techniques to leave clients feeling loose, revitalized and more comfortable in their own bodies. Her goal is give her clients the ability to be come the strongest, healthiest, and happiest versions of themselves.

Together, the horse and veteran work on relaxation, memory skills, patience, confidence, physical wellness, and focus that translates to life beyond the ranch. She specializes in chronic pain and helps clients understand their pain through deeper connection to their body. Through goal-oriented work, Shauna isolates and focuses on specific muscle groups to alleviate tension and help injuries. Marissa Graduated from EastWest College of the Healing Arts and licensed in 2015. With CranioSacral Therapy as a foundation, Marissa approaches bodywork on an intuitive and eclectic level; which she terms “Intuitive Touch Therapy”. Patiently listening to the needs of the body and drawing from various modalities to be incorporated, to customize each session to the specific needs presented by the body and tissues in the moment.

She encourages clients to have a better awareness of their bodies, insight into the root cause of the discomfort, and to feel empowered in their healing process. She is passionate about making people feel at ease, relaxed, and rejuvenated. We want to share our wonderful space with the community and raise funds to continue our mission of offering safe affordable equine-assisted activities. Volunteering as a group is a great way to bond as a team, build positive communication, and give back to the community! Group volunteering experiences are a single commitment of 2 hours for groups of 5 or more people.

Her other passions include being surrounded by nature(botany, camping, gardening, hiking), anything artsy and traveling. We focus on building self-awareness, enabling the individual to work through unexpressed emotional pain and learn how to recognize, verbalize and regulate their feelings. Healing with Horses Ranch provides multiple equine-assisted services for people experiencing learning, behavioral, mental, and physical challenges.
