Lighthouse Drive in Mears, a 45-minute drive north from the White River Light. Situated in Silver Lake State Park, a Recreation Passport or state park day pass is needed to access this light. The beautiful brick White River Light, built in 1875, is situated along a manmade channel between Lake Michigan and White Lake. It was decommissioned in 1960 and opened as a museum in 1970. Today, visitors can climb to the top of the tower and wander the museum and grounds. The North Breakwater Lighthouse is across the street. The North Breakwater Light and Big Sable Point Lighthouse are two iconic stops right here in Ludington. The North Breakwater Light is ranked #1 in Michigan to visit to watch the sunset, plus from there you can watch the arrival/departure of the S.S. Big Sable Point is listed on both the State and National Registers of Historic places. For convenience and security, we have removed all old key locks and switched to digital code locks.

Stearns Park is a focal point in Ludington, located across the street from Ludington Beach House.
